Sacred Simplicity: Worship Spaces Among the Brethren in Atlantic Northeast, explores the 122 House Churches and 180 Meetinghouses in which the people known as Brethren worshiped in eastern Pennsylvania since 1723.  Sacred Simplicity looks at over one hundred congregations and fellowships that have been a part of the Atlantic Northeast District of the Church of the Brethren.   This book includes over 170 photographs and illustrations.

Written by Brethren minister and author George Douglas Gehr, Sacred Simplicity is only available as a PDF Download at www.peaceabilitypress.blog.  The cost is $9.00.  Fifty percent of all proceeds go directly to Atlantic Northeast District in support of their ministries.  All major credit cards and PayPal are accepted.

The release of Sacred Simplicity comes at a time when the Church of the Brethren is celebrating the 300th anniversary of the first Brethren congregation in North America at Germantown, Pennsylvania.
