Promoting Peace. Extending Grace. Enabling Abilities.
About PeaceAbility
Since 2010 PeaceAbility has been dedicated to advancing the cause of peace, social integrity, respect, and disabilities awareness. In recent years I have been focusing on topics of historical interest. This has led to the writing of several books, essays, and articles which are available at this web site under the new name “PeaceAbility Press”.
Feel free to browse through this web site. At the top of each page is a MENU to navigate the site. By clicking on the tab “FEATURED“ you can find the latest news. The “BOOKSHELF gives you access to a list of articles, essays, and books. Some may be read online or downloaded for free as a PDF. Printed books are available in the “STORE” for a nominal price. I hope you will enjoy browsing through these offerings. Be assured we will never seek personal information except as need to conduct online sales. Sales are processed securely through WordPress and its subsidiaries, on which this web site is built.
As before, I continue to share thoughts on current events in a blog format. These can be viewed under the tab “THINKING OUT LOUD”. Your comments in response to any information presented on this site are always welcome. Please use the “Comments” block at the bottom of most pages.
Shopping At PeaceAbility Press
Shopping on PeaceAbility Press is easy and secure. We use WooCommerce by Word Press, a proven leader for online sales. You are not required to create an account with PeaceAbility Press in order to purchase an item. By creating an account, however, you have the protection of recovering a download, if needed. You may also opt to receive updates on future products. Please know that your information is safe and secure. We will never sell your information, nor ask for anything that is not needed to complete a sale.
NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS:
In the past we have partnered with Barnes & Noble to sell our printed books. Barnes & Noble recently began to require that all self-published books (like ours) be sold at a minimum of $14.99 each, with additional shipping expenses added.
PeaceAbility Press is committed to providing you with quality products for the best possible price. Therefore, we will now sell all our books directly through our own online store at reasonable prices you can afford. When you place your order using our “STORE” tab, it will be processed immediately, rather than redirecting you to B & N. This will also allow for faster delivery.
Printed books will be processed and shipped as quickly as possible. You should expect to receive your purchase within 6 business days. Shipping costs are included in the price of the books.
Many of our books are also available for purchase in person at the Ephrata Cloister Museum Store, 632 West Main Street, Ephrata, PA. By purchasing there you can avoid the shipping & handling costs. Other vendors offer a limited number of titles, as well. See the full list of our partner stores below. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
